:D , me dad used to go cockling near Moreton shore on the Wirral , used to come home with buckets loads of 'em. Like you Nan haven't had them for years, them on a Saturday night and Bread and Drippin' on Mondays .   :D

Havnt you tried Quens woof, pick the little black thing out the to , dig you needle or pin in an out they come ,

We used to go to Morteton when we were kids , if i can remember right the cadburys chocolate factory was near there , the smells were great

:laugh: , Haven't tried Quens Nan (unless we called them something else ? ) as for Cadburys,  yeah  :buttrock it was on the main road leading from Upton to Moreton , me auntie Betty worked there for a while, used to come home with loads of "broken biscuits" , happy days  :D . Sad day when she packed it in, but then she got a job as an usher at the Gaumont cinema nr Birkenhead Park and we got in for free, whenever we wanted   :D .

:laugh: , there's a point, whats the first movie you remember seeing on yer own (no mum or dad or big sis or brother) ? Mine was "A night to remember " about the sinking of the Titanic (no, it wasn't a news flash) but it was in black and white , had sound and starred  Kenneth More as Second Officer Charles Herbert Lightoller . :D

At the moment i find Rufus Wainwrights Opus Dei followed by Requiem for a dream does the job, doesn't put me in the happiest of states... but its fun

can't remember the first one i went to see with no grown ups. went to see grease, star wars etc when they were first out, my brother used to have to look after us

dawsonio i saw mannequin back then too, must've been 15 or something. quality film :laugh: took alison lewis with me on the back row, she was lovely but got in a right mood when i got my fingernail stuck in her tights and laddered them  :blush:  :laugh:

u see, its the little things, like rememebring the tights that makes the story.
I was 11 when i saw mannequin... so was none of that funny business!!!

Edward scissorhands i saw when i was a few years older, now thats a diferent story!
