Im wating for Kingdom of Heaven to start over on 4 +1 so am watching Eurovision. Most of the people look like they are having a really good time so I was just wondering what makes it so popular in these other countries? Over here most people couldn't give 2 shits.

I mean to me this is normally a gathering of future porn stars. :laugh:

Yeah I used to work with loads of Scandi people. They really love it. It's like the world cup or something. Maybe slightly exaggerated there.

I like the way Terry Wogan see his bum over the voting and quit. Now in a way, with his rants he is right,much of the voting is biased but you also have to take into account, our songs are usually bad. You cringe when you hear them. In many countries its not taking seriously, as you can see in many of the performances but they love it simply because the ones who do ok have put minimal effort in while laughing at those below them who have put a lot of effort in !

We were winning it too many times, so they changed the format, made it political where any old w"nk could win, and Bob's yer uncle. A song contest it ain't. Reminds me of us and the Prem.

Here in Belgium most people hate it or just don't give a :censored:

, but still every year we send someone with a bad song and a worse act...
Actually this year most Belgians were supporting Turkey since Hadise, the Turkish representative, was born here.
That's how desperate we are
