Cortez revealed his disappointment by saying that Liverpool put the candy very close in front of him which is said to be a great opportunity, but he didn't have idea why he is still staying.

Cortez once had insisted on Tuesday that he was optimistic a deal to take him to Anfield could be thrashed out. He said that Liverpool still have not got in contact with the club.

Looks like he really wants to come and is frustrated.

I know very little other than that some websites gave him man of the match in the Mallocra-Madrid match on Sunday, saying that his attacking from right back caused Madrid a lot of problems.

anfieldadorer, he may still come in the January transfer window cos I think were deffo gonna need a central defender and striker when it opens, that unless Garcis establishes inself upfront when Nunez is fit to play on the right :;):

If he was the man-of-the-match from rightback, my question is can he play in the centre and how good & quick is he? We need a quick defender, we have not had such decent pace at the back for such a long time - when was it? Mark Wright or was it as recent as Phil Babb? I can't even remember anymore...
