People who spent the last few months bitching about the gaffer, offering their opinions up as though they were from God himself, and generally belittled those who kept faith with Rafa were always going to run off like sissies when he signed a new contract and put us back in contention.

It really is as simple as "you can give it, but you can't take it."

I guess some of those who have gone just decided to take their ball home...
