Hmm, I don't know what/where Shipley is.  We can get disgruntled when our teams are underachieving, but we always stick by them and reward them like no other when they play well

Better hockey team or sports city?  The answer to both is no.  They beat us in the playoffs last year, but they're sucking this year.  As for their fans, a good majority of the hockey fans hopped on the bandwagon when they were awarded with 2 good players because they sucked for so long.
As for american football, any list you look at for best fans, Philadelphia will be in the top 3. 

Pittsburgh's baseball team sucks while we're world champs, and even though our basketball teams sucks, they don't have one so we win.

Only thing Philly has on Pittsburgh is a baseball team and a Dave and Busters.  Thats about it.

The Steelers are better than the Eagles but the Eagles fans are better.

I had a dream last night that there was a head on collision on I 95 involving two cars.  One carrying Mike Richards and Jeff Carter and in the other car was Jimmy Rollins and Chase Utley.

Mike Richards & Jeff Carter- both play for the the Philadelphia Flyers (hockey).  Richards is captain, Carter is arguably our best player

Jimmy Rollins and Chase Utley- Play for the Philadelphia Phillies (baseball, world champs!).  Rollins is SS Utley is 2B.

A little piece of me died  when you said that yank.
