Hello from the states

Hello all, I'm from the states and I've loved football my whole life but never followed it.  I have a couple friends at school who are Liverpool fans so I decided that I would root for them.  I don't really have any sort of feeling for any team in the Premier League yet, except ManU and I just don't like them :D

I guess I may not even be an actual fan yet, but I'm going to stick with Liverpool and see how it goes.  I really just want to watch a team that plays hard, tough, fair football.  Besides the team, an awesome fanbase is such a factor for me.  I come from a city with great fans and I couldn't imagine rooting for a team with lousy fans (I hear Chelsea fans are like that, is that true?).

So, I just wanted to introduce myself and tell you all why I'm here.  Here's to some good football  :buttrock

Three of my fraternity brother went to Shipley, and they were the most annoying sports fans of all, even worse than Baltimore fans, (which is difficult).  Great guys though when they weren't on about Iverson or Ryan Howard.   Actually, one of them is the Grandson of Ed Snider the owner of the 76ers and Flyers.
