Don't think it would be £4m. Although they will need the money, if they pay £30 for 'Soft Lad' If they don't sign 'Soft Lad', then no deal. Can't see this one at all. :cool:

If we sign shearer, then any hopes of signing mista is dashed. Shearer is not as good as he was. I don't think he can do a job here.

i would be made up if we got shearer, even if only for a year.
he's still f****** boss an still scores loads. paying £4 million
for him though? no chance. we'd get 2 years out of him at the most. thats not good business at all

Mista's a pretty good striker from valencia. Saw him a few times..., would defo improve our squad.

I for one would love Shearer, look at the magic MacAllister provided in our treble winning season, we have alot of young guns and having a old head would help steady the ship again
