Alonso needs to step up in stevie's absence , not the same kind of player but he can open defenses with his passing .

How tough a draw have we had.

First we got Spurs in the Carlington Cup then Everton in FA cup and if we win we get Villa. Then in champions league we get Real Madrid.

would love to see skrtel impose himself in the box when he gos up for setpieces. he should study that side of vidics game and he will become a more valuable player .

Thats an overstatement mate. He has got forward but each time he fails to take it forward far enough and ends up losing out. He is too slow and his crossing is all over the place bar one. I cant believe he is 1st choice for Italy.

yea i know...sometimes i only wish i could be watching wat ur seeing cause i well and truely cant believe all the sht u come up with sometimes.. do we wear pink and skip around the pitch holding hands in that game ur watchin ?

people whinge, whine and moan at players when they do things wrong yes.

they are celebrated when they do things right (like alonso's shot which fizzed just wide)

problem is there has been a lot more to moan about ie poor crosses, silly freekicks, bad passes etc then there has been shots on goal
