EVERTON VS LIVERPOOL - F.a cup replay

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

It is what I expected... With this type of game it is very hard for quality players to impose themselves.

We need to knock it about a bit, let the ball do the work and plan for ET. They will tire towards the end.. they cannot chase us around for 120 minutes.

we should win it in the 90 minutes.. but we are yet to trouble the keeper.. I would like to see Bable early in the second half for Lucas, put Benny in midfield in the Gerrard Role, and stick Kuyt up front for Torres to play off with Bable down the right in a 442.

The ref is shlt. He talked too much and seems lost of control on the game. Should have set the standard early and that little :censored: Piennar should have gotten 2 yellow cards already. Many other incident. Cahill should have gotten a red by this year standard as they specifically told it was an automatic red if elbow to the head deliberately. WTF? Such an important game but ruined the ref. Man, the ref in EPL is really bad compare to other leagues....

typical derby game but without the intensity in pace etc. needs to be picked up in the second half. think this slow pace and battle type game will suit them. we need to be very vigilant on set pieces as its the only time they look like scoring
shamrock rovers and liverpool are not a matter of life and death to me. they are much more important than that.

He has been one of our best players in the first half

Yeah that last one was terrible. The ref has been fair so far but I can see them losing a player or 2 if they keep this up.

If it finishes 0-0 it's extra time right? No away goals rule?

Thats an overstatement mate. He has got forward but each time he fails to take it forward far enough and ends up losing out. He is too slow and his crossing is all over the place bar one. I cant believe he is 1st choice for Italy.

cause some people just look for every mistake certain players make then post on here . its quite sad and pathetic really - maybe people should try supporting every single player on the pitch not slagging them off every second and every opportunity they can get
