I have a feeling Rafa won't play both Gerrard AND Torres. I can see him saving both of them for Portsmouth, maybe leaving one or both of them on the bench tomorrow.

Not saying I agree but just have a feeling that both won't start Chelsea, Everton and Portsmouth games.

he already played pretty much our strongest team in the last FA Cup game (left out riera and aurelio). So I would say that Rafa is "pot committed"   he has invested too much time of the talented players for us to play a weakened team and then go out in this round.

I suppose its my being an ooter but I would gladly swop this win against Everton for all 3 points against Portsmouth, so I would rest a few players maybe including Gerrard who has had a lot of games recently.

Play your best team Rafa - cant have them rubbing our noses in it if they win.

Only professional to - play in goal (41 appearances), Defence, Midfield, Striker, and later be Director and then to be Manager (winning a Championship) - at one club

You may be right, but with the Real Madrid games also not too far away I just have a feeling he will change things tomorrow.

Is there any overseas radio commentary that gets past the nazi sensors that seem to blat out all commentaries?

IE, Radio 5 Live, Radio Merseyside etc.. have that annoying message 'sorry this program is not being transmitted to your region'

I´d rather listen to the radio than watch a bad stream.

I think we will be too strong for Everton tomorrow night but I can see Rafa resting a few key players such as Carra,Gerrard. I cant see who else he will play up front now Keane has gone so Im sure Torres will start.
The PL is our priorty but no Liverpool fan will want to go out of the cup to our rivals. 2-0 to us.

As much as id hate 2 loose against them i value the league & CL far more & would rather us rest players & risk loosing the game

I would play a 4-4-2

Calaiveri
Arebola
Hyypia
Agger
Aurbielo
Ngog - instructions...ur a fast :censored: get the ball & run down the line.. c what happens :)
Lucas
Alonso
El Zhar
Babel
Torres - he doesnt need the rest & itd be better 4 him 2 comtinue his prgress 2 full match sharpness

subs
Carra
Gerrard
Plessis
Mascherano
Pachecho
Spearing
Darby

I'm a big believer in the term "paralysis by analysis" and I can't help thinking that if you overburden players With over elaborate instructions like these, you run the risk of nullyfying his instinctive tendencies.
