but #1 isnt right though. how did you come up with that solution? the answer i got is very different.

clue: its not possible to guess just 3 fruits correctly.

1. if you guess three fruits correct, then the forth must be correct also.
and 123-43-39-31 = 10, so 10 folk guessed four fruits

Right. I was going to do my debut and Judge beat it to me in all the answers just when I was going to post.

Maypax does it not leave you with 10? maybe i got the end figure right but not the final

why don't you just skip the riddles and set basic google challenges, maypax? for example... first person to find the definition of 'pointless' or something like that...

err...andy. i was suspicious of googling, so i googled one of them as i did not know the answer. only to find misty had done the same thing.

i have not googled anything previous, until now. just to see if folk were doing it.

some are, i am confident of that, but all my others answer are legit

i am happy with maypax riddles, and when in the mood, i am happy to answer them

i cant vouch for others tho

as for the riddle,

1) how can a cake be cut in 8 equal parts with only 3 slices?
