No we just party and get drunk as usual :D

the party starts at 12 :D

Enjoy!!

Here there are a lot of superstitions with new year.

For instance it's generally believed that if you don't fúck tonight, you don't fúck all the year. So people tend to have a receptive attitude tonite :D

We eat 12 grapes, at 00:00, they give you luck.

See you all tomorrow. Barry, drink a bit of Fanta, no-one will notice if it's only a bit.

12 grapes lmao why not 11, or 13? why grapes? Why anything?

12 bell strikes at 12 Pm, 12 grapes. They must be eaten in time, with each bell strike! :D

last new years I went out with a buddy that was one year ahead of me in college so he already had a job and they had rented out this nice bar and that was fun, but today is my last day of employment and I have already spent too much money this month on drinking with friends and presents for family.

The tv countdown shows are always such cr@p over here, not sure what its like elsewhere.

New Years day is college football in America though, so I have a lot to look forward too. Used to be better when all the big games were on Jan 1, but in order to get them all on primetime they have moved back the real big games to space it out over the week.

Fúcking english grammar,

"a pub I hired" --> who hired the pub? me

"a pub we've hired some friends" who hired the pub? us, some friends.

But no, it makes no sense in your language :D

The levels of ridiculous things you can see here in those shows, it's worth shame. Imagine a tv show, in which the same singers, every year since 1967 appear in the very same show. 1967,1968...1974,1975...,2008. Every year the same singers, you'll find the likes of Raphael singing there.

They only stop appearing in the shows when they die. And even then, videos of them are shown to remember them in those christmas shows.

Yes, all this in the national tv, for the whole country. Spain is a strange country, in some things we get modern, but then we also keep some ridiculous traditions on and on and on and on :D
