Do we have to guess the next letter or why the next letter is what it is ? Is it a point for the letter and one for the solution

E. Starting from the middle of the alphabet, the boys go forwards the number of letter in their name. The girls go backwards the number of letters in their name.

Maypax - the point of a riddle is for only 1 answer to make sense. The sequence runs from J + 8 letters to R. Then H + 8 to P.
C + 8 = K.

That is the sequence.

Unless you're after 0+10+8-10+8, etc...

1) You are walking through a field, and you find something to eat. It doesn't have bones, and it doesn't have meat. You pick it up and put it into your pocket. You take it home and put it on a shelf, but 3 day's later it walks away. What is it?

2) I can be created by humans, But they cannot control me. I suck on wood, paper and flesh alike. I can be more of a hindrance than help at times. To my creators, I seem to be everywhere at once. What am I?

3) I have many feathers to help me fly. I have a body and head, but I'm not alive. It is your strength which determines how far I go. You can hold me in your hand, but I'm never thrown. What am I?

4) How much dirt is in a hole that is 3 ft deep, and 6 inches in diameter?

5) An old man wanted to leave all of his money to one of his three sons, but he didn't know which one he should give it to. He gave each of them a few coins and told them to buy something that would be able to fill their living room. The first man bought straw, but there was not enough to fill the room. The second bought some sticks, but they still did not fill the room. The third man bought two things that filled the room, so he obtained his father's fortune. What were the two things that the man bought?

Number the letters in the Alphabet A=1 all the way to M=13 start from M and go back four letters which was Anna's choice J.

I get that the girls all pick letters within a sequence according to how many letters are in thier name going backwards.

Wher as the two guys pick thier letters going forwards according too how many letters are in thier names.
