I really don't.
He's been here four years and been doing the same things since day one. I wouldn't be suprised in the slightest to see Mascherano in the side at the expense of Alonso come tomorrow which would be a massive mistake as the form of Xabi and Stevie is very good at the minute. I also wouldn't be suprised to see a change in system and I wouldn't be suprised to see Keane on the bench after finally scoring his first goal.
For me, he tries to be far to clever and doesn't understand the very basics of playing the game. As a player, if you've scored, you want to carry on, if you've played well, you want to carry on, if your partners played well, you want to keep playing with them.
I agreed with his change with Aurelio for Dossena, that was a good change. When you win and someone is poor then I believe the game after thats an acceptable change. For example, has Alonso been shabby (see what I done there?
) the other day against PSV then I wouldn't be bothered to see him replaced by Mascherano, the same with Keane, had he again failed to score and looked out of place I wouldn't have been arsed to see Gerrard to the right and Kuyt put in upfront to protect him. What really drives me mad is changing for the sake of it.P.S. I still have absoloutely no idea what Rafa see's in Lucas. He's one of the worst players in his position in the league. Why we let Sissoko go to sign that, I'll never know. I'd rather Spearing get some minutes and he lacks the pace and technical quality needed, at least he'd give you the fight and aggression.
