I played Spore today, I enjoyed it.  Good fun, not sure if its worth the money though.  It was leaked a couple days ago and I played that.

we are currently going through a really poor period in games(for the 360 I mean), the last 3 months have been really boring, not alot has happened since GTA4, roll on gears2 and -dare I say it- lets have a bit of proper Tomb Raider, its supposed to be a cracker in the same mould as the original.

Yeah, I've not really played a TR game since the 3rd one on the PSX. Loved the original, and when I seen the trailer of this latest one, it reminded me so much of it, and the graphics are amazing. It's on my radar at least. The next few months will provide  a problem or two for your wallet after a barren spell for the 360. Fifa 09 is an absolute must buy. I'm not even thinking about if I'll get PES 09. It's not even in the equation no matter how much it's improved. There's nothing getting close to the final version of Fifa 09, that is until '10 comes out. I'm afraid PES will be killed off unless you're a die hard PES fan boy that can't let go, but being honest, Fifa is looking just years ahead of it now. PES is f*cked for sure now. Banjo Kazooie looks brilliant, and graphics look incredible, almost like a playable Pixar film, it looks that good. BIA HH, Fable 2,  GOW2, and many more that I've forgotten, all to be released soon. Happy days.

Oh dear! Star Wars:TFU isn't getting very good reviews at all. I feared for the game, after my initial impressions of it from the demo, which I left a few pages back. The main problems are ones that I picked up on after one play through, and that is that it's just far too easy. Even ramping up the difficulty, which helps a bit, can't save it from the fact that it's just far too unbalanced for it to work. It becomes tedious, which I'd hoped the final game wouldn't. Looks like the SNES games are still the best ones even to this day.

Same here. It really is starting to look incredible. It's surpassing PES so much in every department, that it's not even funny. Pro is starting to look a shambles. Oh, and there's no fucking Anfield in the game, considering all the bolox hype about us being their main sponsor. How pathetic is that, like? Absolute joke. They deserve a panning for that again this year.

Source?

Old Trafford omitted as well then, i highly doubt it...

I'd find that ludicrous to say the least considering both clubs licences/kits/names etc..are being bandied about as selling points for the game along with official UEFA Champions League features. How on earth do they (if correct) leave out Anfield.

I like the way the 09 version is shaping up - but i wish they'd have allowed more than 2 minute halves with which to evaluate further...real tease there EA. Still, just over a fortnight to go! Then we'll have alll the time in the world.
