I'm also told that the Fifa demo will probably be available from after midnight tonight. Fingers crossed. Honestly, I always said that Fifa 08's biggest problem was actually just turning with the ball. They sort that, and you have one amazing football game. Looks like they not only fixed it, but fixed and improved a hell of a lot more. I can't wait to get my hands on this, and the mad thing about it is is that it's Fifa and not PES.
Xbox World gave the game a disgraceful review, awarding it just 81% and stated that it was the same game as Euro 08. They then went on to state a load of improvements over that game. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but improvements mean just that, so if it's improved, then how the f*ck can it be the same game? Also, they declared at the end of the review that it's "the closest, and most realistic football sim ever" and then went on to say PES is still better. Someone has either been on the glue, or has been paid off. F*ckin fanboys, eh.

There's too many fanboys when it comes to PES. I remember back in the day, I was converting loads of FIFA lovies to ISS. FIFA then seemed to tread water for years and everyone (at least the hardcore anyway) was playing PES. Now FIFA is back on top, a lot of fanboys won't have it. My two stepsons refuse to entertain FIFA (they have a PS3 too and insist I have turned to the darkside for playing FIFA on a 360). I've played the last PES and thought the graphics were really poor and the gameplay is now an overspeeded arcade affair. FIFA has snatched back the realism from PES and is set to rule again.
The best thing is though, when I was a PES lover, one of the most frustrating things was spending the first month or so creating kits, badges, flags and correct names - with FIFA, none of that is needed. All fully licensed and decent commentary too*.
* excluding the bit where Martin Tyler asks Andy (bitterblue gobsh*te) Gray what his favourite Anfield memory was, and the c*nt starts going on about how he scored a flying header and ended a really long undefeated run at Anfield.
