Terrible story, that. The usual thing, though--some mild-mannered loner just snapped. I still don't understand why a group of passengers didn't rush the guy while he was going at this poor fella and disarm him. Everyone just got off the bus, locked the door and called the cops. :no

The crazy thing is that that happened the night before my missus and I were scheduled to take a Greyhound bus from my Mom's place to Toronto. Thankfully, she was still in the shower when the story broke so didn't hear any of it until the day after we arrived. The rest of our trip was air travel and I managed not to tell her about that Philippines airline flight that had a massive hole blown in the fuselage a few days before our return flight!
