I say no. in athletics they tell you before, if you do drugs, you cant be in the Olympics. He did drugs, now he cant be in the olympics... its that simple if you ask me.

Let someone else compete who hasnt cheated. he should not be allowed to steal a place when he knew the rules

He's done his time and he can run faster than the other brits so what the hell, let him go. I don't know why he's trying so hard to get there though, it appears that absolutely no-one wants him to go The BOA, current athletes, trainers, former greats and the press are all on his back, big time!

if he's clean, then everyone deserves another chance

half of the pop stars make millions from us, and much of the time they snort whatever, but we still buy the music.

we also get reformed nutters giving talks in schools etc, so why cant chambers be allowed to run. its what he does best

wtf has a pop star got to do with an athlete? DC took performance enhancing drugs, knowing that if he did them he would be banned from olympics. the drugs he did built up his muscle, it doesnt just 100% diossapear after he stopped taking them.

now what happens to people who look up to sportsmen? this should never be overturned. its a complete farce. let someone who doestn cheat go.

i made a comparison of drug taking

doesnt matter whether its sport, popworld or movie stars...its still taking drugs, whether to enhance or keep you awake etc

disagree, the best music in the world is based on sex drugs and rock 'n roll.

athletes are dependants on there bodies, not the drugs that enhance them. its just a farce that he even has the nerve to try to appeal. he kenw the law before, he has to live with it. we all live with the cionsequences every day, he should have to as well

I think that there is a big difference here though Judge. DC took the drugs to enhance his chances of winning races, it's just like a pop star getting to number one in the charts but actually somebody else has sung the song for them.

IMO Chambers should not be allowed to go to the Olympics, he's admitted to using banned substances to enhance his performance and he's cost himself and team mates medals as a result so noway should he be allowed a way back.

punishment has been served, and thats it.

murderers even get released as they have ''served their time''.

bad comparison, but you get my point

Chambers should go. If that cracked out whor.e Amy Whinehouse can get awards for bieng a skag head then he should be allowed to compete.

If so called pop stars that millions of kids look upto can get away with half of the filthy habits they have (in my eyes a hell of a lot worse) can still be worshipped by millions what's the f'ckin problem?.

He should and I reckon he will go.

Done it, got caught and served his time.

This worlds all about second chances, imagine he went and won the thing?

I think it's shameful that he wants to run - given what he has done.; If he had any sense of self worth he would not even contest this. I hope he fails and someone worthy gets his place !

The guy deserves another blast i'd say!
Hes been banned and publicly humiliated as well!
Britain is probably the only country that bans athletes for life for such an offence.
I reckon he should and will go,considering he has a good chance of a medal. He made a stupid mistake and has been punished,no one is perfect!
