If anyone wants to get an easy free month of Xbox Live or something else, look here.

It doesn't take long, it's pretty good.

Anyone remember Kickoff 2 on the Amiga!? the goalkeeper would make a save, tipping it around the corner and practically slide all the way to the corner flag if the conditions were wet! What a classic game, my mate is gonna dig it out (and his Amiga) for a bit of nostalgia next week :)

I was having a mooch around Widnes market last Wednesday, they have a load of second hand stalls outside. I was very tempted to buy a megadrive, but the games were :censored: that came with it - no FIFA 95, no NHLPA 93 and no Desert Strike  :(

I've got a SNES and it's still ace to play some of the classics like Mario All Stars, NBA Jam, etc  :bowdown

Lets not forget Unirally ! Love that game...

Sensible Soccer on a winter pitch, you could score some ridiculous goals on that, especially against a poor team with a dodgy keeper !

I was always a kick-off man meself, always loved the challenge of controlling the ball which was never easy! If you were dribbling and then tried to change direction the ball would usually keep going in the same direction! But I did play a bit of Sensy Soccer, Diagonal ball out to the wing, driven aftertouch cross into your striker and a sweet after-touch shot into the corner. Worked everytime!

Ahhh the good ol days when games were games...... :D

Tis true, I do miss the ole text adventure games on the speccy. You know the ones:

You are at a river you can see

A Boat
A Rope

>Pick up boat

You picked up the Boat

>Put boat in pocket

You put the Boat in your pocket

>inv

You are carrying:

A Boat
A House
A Turbine Engine
A Caravan

>pick up rope

You cannot pick up the Rope as your pockets are full

:buttrock

Ahh the good ole days !
