Hello mickey,

The news that you are leaving us baffled me big time. Why? Why at this time, just seconds before the start of the season? Why AT ALL? And most of all, why leave us when we are playing better football, and when you are playing with a better co-striker (cisse/baros instead of husky)? It makes no sense at all. Nonsense.

But you have made up your mind, and I guess that's that. But before you go, I want you to know that you are always a liverpool legend to me (even tho' your injuries and penalty misses kind of tainted that a little bit).

Hope you do well in Real Madrid. If Liverpool ever meet Real in the Champions League, I hope that you will be good enough to play against us (i.e make it into the 1st 11).

Last but not least, YOU NEVER WALK ALONE.
