This sounds really daft with us having a new Spanish manager but I'm slightly alarmed at the number of Spanish players being linked with Liverpool.

How will we manage in an away game at Crystal Palace, when it's p*ssing down with rain, tackles are flying and half our team are more worried about their hair than anything else?

so as long as he is quick and can run with the ball you will be happy!!

From what i have seen on the champions league website we might be getting a decent player in Nunez. Bags of pace, aggression, two good feet and is good in the air. Many people were saying he would be the natural successor to Figo. Might not be a bad deal after all?

surely we could of got juan fran after all they did get owen on the cheap a england international but who do we blame houiller ? owen ? the board? his agent?

by **zythums** » Fri Aug 13, 2004 2:55 pm

Blame no one. It's not going to change anything! I would rather conserve that energy on cheering us on tomorrow! Go REDS!!

My mate Paco say's the Nunez has been a good player for Madrid over the past couple of years but has been puched out b Beckham and Figo. He say's he'll be a good player for us if he gets the games and confidence.

Who thought Josemi would be a good buy?

I will trust every signing that Benitez will make for this club. For a man who won la liga on a low budget i just cant see him making poor signings like GH did. The days of asking why did he sign him etc etc are gone now i reckon. Quality is all that is making its way to Anfield from now on.

Cisse in Owen out
Nunez in Murphy out

So I think we lost a lot of $$$ in this exchange
Owen went very cheaply indeed. How much did you think we'd get two months ago. 8Mill plus a reserve......?

Thx Michael
