Support this please people.

Those of you who dont know the name, think Torres, Gerrard and Carragher, then add them together and your still nowhere near this mans impact, influence and sway on not only the club, but EVERY person who had the pleasure of his company.

I've been over to Townhill school today, which, as you may know, was where the great man went, contrary to popular belief there are NO pictures of Billy on the school walls or a plaque to commemorate him, there are however, a couple of pictures with a C Liddell and a T Liddell

never mind

anyway here are a few pics I took while I was there

Just had this emailed to me

The motion to Fife Council was unanimously approved today. An amendemnt was included to refer to John Thomson - Fife Council supports the campaign to establish a permanent memorial to Billy Liddell, born in Townhill, Dunfermline in 1922, in recognition of his services to football in Scotland and Liverpool and also urges the Scottish Football Association to recognise his achievements by admitting him to SFA Hall of Fame.Fife Council also supports the Bowhill based John Thomson Memorial Committee's ongoing efforts to have Scotland and Celtic goalkeeper John Thomson included in the Scottish Football Federation's Hall of Fame."

Happy days
