albert hoffman, discoverer of lsd has died at the age of 102(!!). i wonder if it would be true to say that he was singularly responsible for changing the lives of more people than anyone else that has ever lived. i would personally like to thank him for a few interesting insights and experiences - and i'd personally like to give him a slap for some of the others.

whatever, rest in peace mr hoffman and thanks for the flashbacks

LSD as in the hallucinogen LSD as in the experimental stage of their career as in The Beatles?

Can't say I've ever taken it, I know people who have and all they did was laugh their tits off.  Must have been good.

Although I have hallucinated whilst being under the influence of other shit and could see pumpkins and pumpkins and pumpkins coming out of my telly towards me a bit like the Jacksons Blame It On The Boogie video.  I shit you not, I couldn't breathe for laughing.  :D

Anyway, didn't know the fella.  I'm sure someone out there will be in mourning though...

unless he's cremated, mummified or cryogenically preserved you'll probably get your wish.

thanks albert hoffman for allowing me to get chased down greenbank drive by ducks and being forced to take refuge in the brookhouse, on which particular night the lights on the chandeliers in there were strangely fascinating

the ducks were real btw. i think.

it was windowpanes, ohms and black mics in my day. a black mic caused me to spend 2 hours stuck on prinny road because i was too scared to walk past a weird looking bush.
