Had the most horrible thing happen today, my uncle has cancer and he has just come back from Egypt and ended up in hossie in Egypt for 5 days violently ill dyhdration couldnt eat the food when he had to take tablets etc......
Me mum rang me this mornin said he was flown straight to hospital today.

My Aaron comes in after school and tells me the headmaster has died of a tumor on the brain 38, he went outside to play some horrible feckin ginger :censored:

I am more puzzled over the fact that the kid has just turned seven and knows exactly what a tumor is?

My child doesnt do that to anyone.

Because the dutch can portray themselves as being a great society but where I live if anyone is thinking of moving there go to Germany instead.

Im sorry to hear about your uncle ciggy, a tumour is never a good sign. But there are bad attitudes all over the world, and britain are allowing this attitude into this country on a daily basis.

What is the mentality of these people? WTF is going on ? you know I moved here to let my child have a better life well feck me, no matter how bad Liverpool is scousers would never, ever say a thing like that to a child.

No in britain, the rights are fully given over to the criminal, better to shoot them dead then go through the hassle of arguments.

I had a run in with this same man a few weeks ago two kids where kickin the sh!t out of each other he grabbed my arms and said let him kick his head in your son has been at it all day?

And if It would have been me son asif I wouldnt have stopped it? Come on?

Its a shocking attitude isnt it. Being able to adapt to an attitude other than your own standing morals is hard enough, but to stand up to plain ignorance is something else. Dont be angry, sleep well knowing at least you was in the right.

Just shows you Lynds that you don't know a place till you live there. I must confess I would have thought the Dutch people would be modernist, liberated and friendly to all but that stuff you've talked about there is shocking.

Funnily enough the bit about them "not going out" struck a bit of a chord with life over here as well. Lots of Kiwi's barely cross the threshold from one week to the next (mainly because nobody over here's got a pot to p!ss in as the wages are so low I guess). All that said I must say it's pretty cruisy over here by and large, nonna that b0ll0cks that you've got to put up with mate. I've only ever encountered one bit of anti over here and that was when I was getting a Chinese for me and the Mrs a few weeks back. Bunch of three lads and one of em pipes up "you English then?" (obviously a bit of a genius me with my broad Yorkshire accent and all) and when I said yeah mate, I got the old scoffs, looks and attitude. Feck me I thought, Sunday night and you to get a chinky at half past eight and I'm gonna have a row here. Anyways me bottle aint what it once was and I'm too old for all that old cr@p so's I just kept me head down and nothing much more was said (though they were defo up for it). That's the only time though in sixteen months I've had any sort of cr@p whatsoever over here, even though nit didn't amount to much. Just shows you though, there's w@nkers and sh!thouses wherever you go.

my mate rob moved to holland and has said exactly what you said - the image of the dutch as laid back liberals is all b0ll0cks, they're all v dull and v straight-laced in real life. he's in utrecht (married to a dutch girl) and is desperately trying to get her to move back to london and show her what life's all about. only been to germany once (cologne) and it was superb, the locals were an absolute scream :buttrock
