The fact it starts again soon makes me more p1ssed of with Sky and Branson for the their petty squabbles. I have Virgin Cable and up until their fall out with Sky I never missed an episode of Lost

Now I am soooo far behind, the last episode I watched was just before Virgin and Sky had their disagreement  :(

Is there anywhere on the net I can play catch up ? I use to watch it on a site called TV Links but it got removed

Got no idea about theories but I appeared to have spent half of the last week (including some wasted time on the interweb in work) trying to find out as much as I can about this series.  Not much is being given away.  Only eight episodes out of the planned sixteen will air if the writers strike doesn't end in the next three weeks.

I stumbled upon a MAJOR spoiler for episode 4 Eggtown yesterday and even though I've had a whole day to absorb it now, my first reaction was surprise.

It should be no surprise to anyone as he's listed as a series regular on the opening credits that the treachorous Michael (Waaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllltttttttt!!!!!) makes a return this season...

This is my favourite show on TV barring none, having replaced 24 after the average Season 6.  24 used to be gold.  Season 7 looks very far fetched even for 24 standards.

More to follow... :;):

Stick with it mate.  I've a feeling he'll have to pay for what he's done on the Island so it's probably worth sticking with.  He'll try and find some kind of redemption first, plus I 'll bet we'll see what he's been up to since he left on the boat at the end of Season 2...

I'm thoroughly lost with Lost. Haven't seen the new episode yet but the series has been off the air for so long I no longer recall what was going on . I'm sure the last episode I saw had something about Jack back in the USA and going on about having to return to the island , WTF was that all about ? . Someone bring me up to speed, please.

Woof, the show has flashbacks yer?

Well in the finale of Season 3, it showed you Jack washed up with a beard, with both a drug and alcohol addiction.  You started to think, what made him like this?  What could have happened so bad before he went to the island that he was once like this?

The end of the episode, he got on the phone to somebody he'd been trying to get in touch with the whole episode.  They meet at an airport.

It was Kate.  Jack told Kate he was sick of lying (about what we don't know yet), that they should have never left the island and they have to go back!!!  Whatever is troubling Jack so much has turned him into a wreck of a human being.

What you had been watching all along through the episode was a FLASH FORWARD!!!  So you know that Jack and Kate at least finally leave the island.  It doesn't suit Jack though.  He has spent every minute on the island trying to get back home that when he gets home, he can do nothing but think of getting back there.  Kate said that they are not meant to go back.

The concept of Lost was that the 'present' was the island time and it showed you flashbacks in the 'past'.

Now the element of the 'future' has appeared and the producers know wher they are going with the story.  There are 47 episodes left to show spanning three series of 16 episodes each.  The producers know where they are going and personally, I'll be with it every step of the way.

We are going to see what happened to certain people after they left the island, as not everybody made it off.  Some of those who did make it back home are happy, others not so, and there are certain newly introduced parties who want to know if 'they' are still alive.

Who are 'they'?

Loads of questions still to be answered...  Best show on TV for me.

Are they only doing 16 episodes from now on John?

Class show and Im so glad its back but I still cant wait for the daddy of them all 24 to come back.

Season 6 wasnt great but they have to make a big comeback this year.

Cheers Jonny, I've got the perspective now.

I've never had a flash forward though I've had loads and loads of flashbacks.   :D

I.E
when jack lands on the bamboos on the very first episode...it shows his father Christian shepherd telling the dog....'go wake up my son-he has work to do '

hmn..seems he has a big part after all
