To be honest i would have Hanson back i think him and Carra would compliment each other perfect . One of the best center halfs ever to wear the red shirt . with him we could start playing football from the back again

How could you not post Barnes as an option.

John Barnes...Crosses...Free Kick's....Amazing Dribbles....Great goals....

Out of the options you''ve posted, i voted Kenny!

Kenny to play up front with Torres to recreate the partnership he had with Rushie.

He´d need to lose a few stone first mind......  :D

Roger Hunt for me, awesome striker. But off the list errr.....tough one but Fowler, the most natural striker we have ever produced.

billy liddell.

he isn't even on the list :no
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

so therefore anybody born after 1986 can't believe Dalglish is a great player? I suppose we haven't won 18 league titles because I haven't seen us win all 18. I suppose John Houlding has :censored: all to do with me since he found the club in 1892 and I wasn't born then? I suppose the 1965 cup final has no importance to me because I wasn't born? Bill Shankly is only held in high regard by those born before 1974 I suppose?

And yes me auld fella spoke highly of Liddell, as I do to my lad about the players of the 70s and 80s. He knows how good Keegan and Toshack were, but he obviously can't say so because he didn't see them play live. Are you that retarded?

I've seen Liddell play on videos as well as stories from me dad, so I can judge how good the player was. He was a fantastic winger come forward. He could win games single handedly and throughout his stay at the club guided us to as much success as he possibly could. So yes I can say safely that Liddell would be the played I'd bring back.

Since I'm being criticised by a total :censored: for saying Liddell is the player I'd bring back (because I didn't see him play live, what a pathetic excuse to have a go at me) I think Phil Neal would be walk into the side and would benifit us more than most. An attacking full back who popped up with 5/6 goals (mainly pens) but I am allowed this option because I saw Neal play live many times, as well as see him win four European Cups. But again Neal isn't in the list :no

What you going to moan about this post for woof?

The exploits of the team from the mid 60's onward are extremely well documented (on film). Not difficult to form a valid opinion on any of the players via that medium.

I've seen Liddell play on videos

If you've still got them perhaps you'd put up the titles ,  I wouldn't mind adding some of them to my collection.
