OBLIVION

I'm new to the game (thoroughly enjoying it) can anyone tell me a good place to sell stolen gear ?. I nicked a lot of valuable stuff from the imperial armoury , I've been lugging it around with me but don't need it, be a shame to throw it away. :D

You need to join the Thieves Guild and get a fence.

I cannot remember exactly how you join but its in the Imperial City.

I'm really getting into Oblivion now. I'm at a part where I have to do an errand for a statue after giving it glow dust from a will o the wisp creature. Figuring that out was a b@stard. It never gave me a hint what I had to do,what thing or creature I had to find or kill for that matter. Either way, I found out and now I've to go stiff some vampires in a mine. Thing is, there's a big f*ck off Orc in there and it murders me every time. It's wearing some blinged out armor too, and I wants it! My character is far too weak to kill it, though. Cracking game. It's put me in the mood to buy Mass Effect now.

Bioshock is a wonderful gaming experience, COD4 is cutting edge and again highly enjoyable(both single & multi) Halo3? an old friend who I was pleased to see. PGR4 is superb, the Orange Box....a class act. This last 6 months has seen the most impressive title release this gamer has encountered in 28years of gameplay, from coin op spacies, atari berzerk to Crackdown on the xbox360, its the zenith

I was approached to join the Thieves Guild actually, and the meeting is outside the imperial city, in a camp or something.

Not since 95/96 has there been as good as a release gluttony as this year, or the past few months. Though if I had to choose which year was better, I'd say between 95/96 hands down. That year seen some of the most influential games ever made come to new and exciting consoles like the PSX and N64 (I'd a jap N64 in 96 and wasn't released here until March 97). Even the SNES had some cracking games come out, along with the Saturn.

Picked up Mass Effect yesterday and have put a couple of hours in over this weekend. Have been quite impressed with it so far. Some lovely graphics plus the conversation sections are seamless, it's a bit like being in a movie at times. Not totally convinced by the combat yet, they have replaced your typical 'turn by turn' style combat with real time resident evil/GTA type combat. It works quite well but obviously nowhere near as well as a typical shooting game. Will post some more thoughts once i've played a few more hours.

as for COD4, the game is fookin awesome. In terms of online play it's one of the most addictive and playable games to come out. Very impressed.

So lads are we gonna set up an newkit clan? we could change our gamertag with the clan letters before the name, e.g. LFC PaulConUK.

I think before we change names and stuff we actually need to play together and meet up at a certain time.

I can usually play of a night between 20:00-22:00.

Whats the best time for everyone else?  ???

Scott, I read somewhere that in Mass Effect the space shuttle control is a bit of drag too, any truth in that?
