There's been a problem with matching up friends list in rooms Paul - at least there has on CoD4. Me and Niftyneil couldn't *connect* the other day...allegedly its a known issue until the patch surfaces.

Also, beware that one or two of those Gamertags are case sensitive peeps. I know that daxy's is.

Their are other tags, JBG has one and a few others but their are 97 pages of this thread to look through, thus the gamertags thread which I asked if it could be made sticky but hasn't been (so I keep bumpin it).

I've also had problems on COD4 too, it was the same with COD 2 & 3 for the first couple of months until they released a patch.

I'm gonna have a gander on charlie oscar delta and see if theirs any news.

None as yet. The patch is 'supposed' to be imminent sometime mid December...

Btw - no need for the sticky either. There's only about a dozen or so of us bothered. Just update this thread as and when it needs refreshing. Actually getting a lobby set up with all of us in it is going to prove awkward this side of chrimbo.

Yeah but more people will get 360's over the crimbo period, getting people 2gether IS a nightmare when I'm online people are always playing other games,  I think their trying to avoid me, lol

Its because i only come online after 10 o'clock. By the time the kids are settled and the missus has fallen asleep on the couch!

I'll have to start adding those now that I've got my PC working again...sort of. The c*nt went a bit mental on me and stopped working just after I got the annoying blue screen of death thing. Does MS make anything these days without a death related thing? I know 360 is plagued with issues.

Anyway, before I could solve that issue, the c*nt blew up, or shorted out or some sh*t, or so I thought. I was losing the head and smacking it about a bit, then it died. Power wouldn't go through it, so I gave it to my brother's mate who claimed to know his sh*t. Turned out he hadn't a clue and cost me a lot of time. I got it back 2 weeks later and nothing done, so Stevo had to operate. I found the problem to be loose RAM and a screw under the mobo. It was making a beeping noise. I assume that was the mobo's way of telling me something was wrong. Can anyone tell me what that beeping was?

Anyway, it powered up, and I booted it in Safe Mode. Found out the blue screen thing was caused by NOD32. (Anon.sys). F*cking unreal. My antivirus caused it. Turned out NOD isn't compatible with XP, but it was fine for over a year until now? Strange. I located that file and wiped it. But I think now it's unleashed a few nasty viruses on my disc. My PC is really slow now, and when I drag a page down on the net, it has that slow stutter flicker effect as the page moves down or up. It's annoying.

One other thing. As all this was going on, some b@stard stole my COD4. I only just got it again the other day and have been playing it online for a few hours. Brilliant it is. Though there are a few Yanky doodle dandys that are a bit too much like machines. They either spend most of their waking life on the game, or they are just freaks of nature. I think both.

By the way, FIFA 08's 5v5 is really class. It surprised me how addictive it is.

I have played a small bit of it, then Mass Effect came out and I have been hooked on that since.

Mass Effect has the most gripping story in a game since Deus Ex. I'd massively recommend it.
