I don't usually play RPG's but on the walk through this looked pretty good. Can anyone recommend best race and class for a novice ? I've started as Imperial/Agent but was considering Khajiit/Assassin. Do the various races/classes that you chose make a significant difference to to game experience ?.

Yes mate, makes a huge difference. Great game Woof, I really hope you like it. Better being an imperial warrior first time through. Gives you time to hack and slash while you are picking up the idea of how to use magic. Agents are cr@p btw, you're no good at fighting and no good at magic(all you are good for is creeping around )
Get yourself a big sword, the best armour you can and start swinging that weapon!
PS join the magi's guild and the fighters guild, and make sure you murder someone along the way as well. (you will find out why)
u pc-ing or xbox ing?

Cheers Saint , The kings just died and now I'm supposed to go through some sewers. Reading a review of the game I think round about now I get a chance to change my choice of class ? so maybe I'll ditch the "agent" choice and go for something a little more fiesty.

I'm PC-ing it Dawsinio, having fun eating rat meat at the moment

Multiplayer is awesome and back to the good ol' COD2 days where it was enjoyable to play online.
Infinity Ward have also put a lot of new features into the game, the main one are unlocking new weapons and 'perks' when you rank up online.
I have to give this game 9.5 because every aspect of the game is amazing, it's a better game than Halo 3 imo for pure gameplay, it's soooo intense at time

I'm playing that now. I think there's some sort of update thing on the disc because when I first put it in the first time, it went to a screen with a bar at the bottom. Don't know what that was for, though.
Anyway, the game is class. If you grew up playing these sort of games as I did, it will take you way back to Mario 64 and beyond it. If anything, it reminds of of all the old NES and SNES classics.
