Worst liverpool team ever - In our opinion

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Looking through the threads and cant find any fun ones so lets go for, in our opinion, the worst Liverpool team we can assemble by picking players past and present ok heres mine.

GK: Mike Hooper, I remember steve staunton playing in goal one time for us and he was a 1000 times better !

DR: Bjorn Kvarme, on form he looked quality but thats only because the rest of our defence at that time was utter poo !

DL: Julian Dicks, legend at west ham, bell end at anfield.

DC: Torben Piechnik, Souness bought him to "strengthen" our defence !

DC: Djimi Traore, scored a brilliant goal, unfortunately it was against us.

MR: Istvan Kozma, his greatest moment was in a league cup game against chesterfield, says it all really.

ML: Harry Kewell, now I havent chosen him for his lack of talent, ive chosen him because the chances are he will be injured even for a fantasy team !

MC: Salif Diao, the next viera ! A glimmer of the one before would have been nice.

MC: Jean Michel Ferri, played a massive 47 mins in total before he was booted out !

FC: Sean Dundee, put jan molby to shame with his appearance in a red shirt.

FC: Luis Garcia, no doubt about his talent but I chose him because nobody knows what we are going to get total frustration or moment of genius.

There it is my worst lineup, I think that would definately lose 6-0 to a conference team !

Ok your turn, whats the worst you can do?

Harry Kewell and Luis Garcia do not deserve to be in that list. Both players are capable of turning games on their own.

How about the likes of Paul Stewart,Jimmy Carter,David Speedie?
There's no doubting the most useless waste of space to ever wear the Liverpool shirt - El Hadji Diouf £10m FFS!!!

Have a word dickhead!

Have you forgot about Luis Garcia's contribution to our 5th European Cup?

Guys, come one its not serious.

Got to disagree comepletely with Luis and harry.

Probably have Jen Michel Ferri on the right, El Hadj Poof in for Luis, Move Kozma into the middle and draft Mark Kennedy in for Harry on the left.

PHil Babb should be in the team and captain - £4m was a record for a defender. NObody knew Paul McGrath was teh brains behind his great 1994 world cup.

souness does seem to be monopolising this.

Garry Abblet was always the one to panick me - such a tragic end to his career (played for Everton :D )

If transfers are taken into account Dean Saunders would have to be up there too (great in UEFA cup against Finish teams but rubbish in league)

Mark Walters always made me laugh - that one foot over the ball "trick", couldn't stand Heskey either.

I nearly forget Jimmy Carter - I'd have preferred to have the former US president than that Jimmy Carter

Mike Hooper never let the club down, from what I remember. Don't forget that he warmed that bench for donkeys years, and it says a lot about the guy that he was willing to keep working hard behind the scenes to be ready when he was needed. Those are the kind of players that deserve applause, I reckon. Even if he did look like the bloke of Corrie that got stabbed.

Nunez would be in there for me. Did absolutely nothing while he was at the club. Glenn Hysen would be on the bench at the very least. I always thought he was seriously overrated, and far from a reassuring presence at the back.
