Just thought I would share my good news with you guys, tonight on the Andy Townsend and Mike Parry show on Talksport I won just short of two thousand pound, if I had held my nerve it would have been three thousand five hundred but I am happy with what I won.

I am buying either a PS3 or X-Box 360 anyone know which is the better of the two ?

Congratulations! I have some curse that prevents me from being lucky for those things related with luck. Never found a bill in the streets, never was caught in the radio when I called, not even win a minor lottery prize. I'm happy this time at least Lady Fortune has smiled to you!

Enjoy. XBOX or PS3? I think the PS3 is better techy wise, but it all depends how much it's hardware is used by the developers. At the end of the day choose the one thas has the titles you want to play. If it was me, and wanted to play I'd pick a PC computer with a great card, the thing I don't like about consoles is that there are not Civilization-esque games, or simulators or complex games like that.

i think u could get your information out of any of the people, but if i were you and had the choice i would ask red37. not only is he well versed in the xbox360, but hes a darn niced guy to boot. if my sister was single id set her up with him, thats how cool the guy is.

I like the look of Call Of Duty4 is that a X-Box or PS3 only game ? I have always had Playstations and feel like I am betraying them by switching to X-Box but maybe its time to change.

Oh by the way I should be on Talksport in the morning as they record the previous winner to play a clip before they play the game again. Almost two grand for a 50p text, I am still buzzing

I found 4 £5 pound notes when I was about 12 years old, splattered about in a puddle. Well made up I was. When it came to me spending it they was fake ! So you can imagine how cheesed off I was !

Congrats on your win Destro, id go for a nintendo wii had a go on me brothers and think its awesome. If not id go for a PS3 Devil May Cry 4 and Resident Evil 5 look good for it.

The thing about choosing a console is that you cant look at the power it provides through its technical specs, you have to look at the games that are coming out for it. Only you know what games genres you like. The only piece of advice I can give is check out the game line ups for each console, most games are not exclusive any more especially bigger ones from yester-year, Resi evil, Devil may cry are now no longer exclusive to playstation.

This will have lists and reviews for all the games announced for each console.

IMO 360 has the more attractive line up, the only game that isnt announced for sure that I want is Metal Gear Solid 4 (which is a shame).

There is a good reason to get a PS3, that is because it comes with a blue-ray player... but blue-ray disks are very expensive at the moment and for them to make a difference you need a big f**k off TV worth around £800 - £1000.

My advice check out the games that are out and to be realesed for each console and decide that way.
