Paul I got PGR4, however im a bit dissapointed with it to be honest, very arcade like game and they changed the whole career mode.

The Motorcycles are hard to control too..

I loved the demo and loved 2 & 3, I like the arcade style and it doesn't try to be too serious like Forza (which I might trade in). I think I'm actually gonna get it on the way home from work today

gamestation offered me £8 trade in for forza 2 paul so dont go there the minges!
ill get pgr4 in the mornin after work im in half day then off for
16 days woohoo! then in for 2 weeks then off to tenerife for 10 days
were the villa has a 360 oh yeah cant wait!

Got PGR4 last night, very good game, can't be ar5ed typing it all but it looks awesome and plays so smooth, the weather changes are fantastic, the snow makes you drift, the fog limits your visuals and when it rains you even aquaplane on big puddles, you'll be driving along and a big flash of lightening goes on in the distance and scares the sh!t out of you, lol, if you liked PGR3 then you'll love this cos it's even better imo.

Now, has anyone here got any experience of playing this Counterstrike:Source game online (PC)? Ive been watching a few vids and it looks like fun. Im getting tired of the tw@ts in the HALO community now...really there are some kin horrible scrotes on that. I like the look of this old one though and its only about 13 quid new.

Any help appreciated lads. (PC spec wise im in midrange).

For some reason Daxy always buys games he know I won't buy, I think he's scared of me owning him online :;):

Gamerscore just means you spend loads of time playing games not that your any good at them

On a serious note, I don't understand these people that just play games for gamerscore, my mate (makker) has 21,000 gamer score and when he gets a new game just prints off a list of achievements just to go through them, I just find it really sad, for example when the 360 first came out he bought King Kong just to play it through and get an 'easy' 1000 gamerscore :no

Gamerscore is addictive though Paul, I too have purchased Kong just to get some easy points.

For me it adds to the enjoyment of a game and gives games replay value. However, while I like boosting my score I wouldn't go out of my way to play cr.ap but easy games just to boost my gamerscore (ahem, Daxy.

In some games, such as Bioshock, the gamerscore is pitched perfectly. Others, particularly Japansese games, have retarded gamerscores. For example, I have played about 15 hours of Blue Dragon yet only have got two achievements in that game.

I plan on getting the Orange Box this weekend and that has 99 Achievements, together with all of the gaming goodness you get in that box that is pretty darn good.

Replaying HL2 from start to EP2. Can't believe it's been 3 years since I last played it. And what a game it is too. Never realized how good it was. It's a shame Valve and Gabe Newell are so full of sh*t and too lazy to give their franchise a next generation (not Xbox 360 or PS3 but beyond) overhaul. They somehow figured it would be 10 years or more to build a new engine and game from it. Tw@ts. Even so, the game still has some of the best atmospherics, if not the best atmospherics ever produced in an FPS. City 17 and it's surroundings might as well exist in real life. I just hope they don't make a film of this, because they'd f*ck it up as par for the course, though it would be ideal to be turned into a film. Funny how they turn all the ones that aren't suitable for the big screen into films.

On another note, Pro Evo 08 is out next week. I'll have to play a few of you fellas.

So who has got PGR4? I've played some career but didn't get chance to play it at the weekend as my cousin was down from Liverpool and the night before decided he was going to bring his girlfriend (although she's a nice girl) so we didn't really play any 360

I've got it, but I'm not that impressed. It's too arcadey for me. I'll have to trade it in for Forza 2.
