Cracks me up, talking in the third person and all that.

Would love to put a name to that face (or vice versa).

Its becoming more and more prevalent and ruining any chance of decent football chat in many of the threads. I don't think its necessary to ban anyone or even give a yellow card, just a PM should be enough in most cases. It seems to be almost accepted practise at the moment that if someone disagrees with someone else's opinion they are automatically called an idiot, a w@nker or worse.

I know I have done my fair share of abusive posts in the past, but I have been making an effort not to lately. At least its something to keep you busy for a day or two, or you could just take the easy way out and tell me to fk off.

But then 90% of my posts would be deleted, Saint.

I hope this doesn’t sound rather rude, but why has the Porto topic been closed and new one opened? It’s split the debate up into two sections, which is unnecessary IMO. I cannot quote people now and offer my conclusion to the thread because there is a new one, in which only eight posts which a few people have contributed.

It ruins the art of discussion.

If you could kindly repeat that sentence for me, it would be welcomed as I did not understand it.

As for your sarcasm that’s fine, but what is the point in making two topics about the same thing? Would it not make more sense to keep continuity and use the original thread instead of your own one? I could understand it if the topic had been closed directly after the game, but to close it hours after it finished, it doesn’t seem practical IMO.

If it continues, I’ll go elsewhere and post my views (not that’s a loss to this place) and lurk on here to read.

Why do you give a toss?

He separated the topic as one is for pre-match build up and in match commentary, whilst the other is for post match analysis.

I think you make a valid point mate, if we are going to have the match thread split in two (which I think is a good idea) it would be better to close the thread immediately the match finishes.

These new fangled ideas sometimes take a while to get used to, but like digital teletex may one day prove their worth.
