i think it is bull...... I like baros but saviola is one of the best players in the world. Why would barcelona want to exchange saviola with baros ?

But if is true....we should grab him.

Maybe not Saviola but I think Baros in the current depressed market is worth alot more in a trade deal than straight cash. A team like Barca needing to slash the wage bill and bring in some new young players would prob jump at the chance of unloading his earnings on a player swap. Now if he was to accept a 20% cut to play for the Boss who won the Spainsh league for two of the last three seasons and play a major part in making us great again whilst following a long, fairly succesful list of Argentinian players to play here then Yeah it could be on. However my original point that his worth is much more on a player swap means we should have a look at the players available at the clubs interested and find out how much they really want him. The squad has a few places up for grabs with all the goings so far and I have no doubt that some of them would be on serious cash so it could work.
The man who came to merseyside from Newcastle, the man who says he's part of Liverpool as much as the Liver building. When he was needed Alan Kennedy was there. And with now just 8 minutes to go it could be that Alan Kennedy has made a little history.

Saviola doesn't interest me.  We can't go wrong with any two from Owen, Cisse and Baros.  We need to focus on recruiting for other positions.

Baros we know have spent the past few seasons in the Premiership while Saviola, good though he is, is a gamble for us (remember Veron, Crespo etc? Big names who flop big time in Premiership)
I think we should keep our frontline as it is and concentrate on other areas. In a successful season, we will have enough games to keep all three happy and productive.

Not quite as stupid as the poster that keeps wingeing about them, and as a result keeps them at the top of the front page. If you don't like them, ignore them.

First time i've commented on it to be honest, it is getting a bit boring all these idiotic polls though, if you're gonna make a poll make it a decent one.

Its a ****** thread and an even shitter poll.

These trade deals always get rumered but there seems to be very few involving a switch of 2 big name players- it just sells newspapers, if you think about how hard it is to get a deal for one big name player with numerous clubs interested, Agents, high wages etc- what are the chances of it ever really happening especially accross different countries.
But i do think Saviola is a world class player and would be a success in any league and i would say he should be worth more than Baros- but Baros is still a wicked player to have.

Saviola is technically very good but a bit too small for the hustle and bustle of the premiership. I also think he will have problems in adjusting to the cooler climate.

Juninho has done very well for a small player from the South Americas but he plays in midfield and does not have to conthen with big and powerful defenders all the time due to his playing position.

Saviola is way too similar to Owen and we dont want that, as they are both just about 3ft tall :D, we need someone that is different to Owen and Cisse.

Agreed, dont think ive ever seen it happen where 2 big names are involved in a swap deal. Anyone ever hear about it...

By the way, the last 2 polls ive posted(which i thought were fairly decent) were criticised(1 by leon and both by stu). Why dont you get a life you f***ing gimps. these polls are to find out other peoples opinions on matters(for me and anyone else on this forum). if u dont like them then why the f*** would you just keep complaining about them. you should just f*** off and support manure. now that i got that outta my system im not gonna reply to any of your bullsh.it anymore!
