Ban then from incoming transfers for a period of time.


Unlikely to happen though due to EU "freedom of trade" rules.

In Italy clubs like Roma were put under a transfer embargo, as were Lazio, Leeds were too, so were Notts County I think, plenty of clubs have been placed under one. I don't think the EU has much of a say in it. It is a punishment within UEFA's jurisdiction, or within the jurisdiction of the local football association or in England the Football league, or Premier League.

I think it's unlikely clubs will be punished becuase it is so difficult to pin something on them, it's more likely that Agents will be suspended. I think the clubs will have pretty handy lawyers who can worm their way out of the situation - IF something has been done wrong.
