Im sticking this in Gen Chat because it was a while ago when it happened, so here goes...

If you had the choice which would you of these would you preferred to go in?

CHOICE 1

Eider Gudjohnsen in the last minute of injury time of the semi final of the Champions League in the Kop end of Anfield.

If this goes in that is it we are out of the final to Mourinhos team, how disappointed would you have been.

Heartbreaking wouldnt even come in to it. Remember our joy at the [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDdJe9EDUUw
]end[/url] of that match. How painful would that have been, now just think about that for a while.

CHOICE 2

After coming back so well in the final Shevchenko is 2 yards from goal 2 minutes from penalties and Dudek [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_9k1vc_ppI
]saves[/url] it.

Imagin that went in, my god imagin.

So there it is, if the Chelsea goal goes in we are out in the cruelest fashion in our own ground in front of the Kop and we would not go to the final.

Could you have took that? After watchin the celebrations after the full time whistle in Anfield imagine what the place would have been like. We would have never got to the final and we had never seen the magical night we seen in Istanbul and all the Drama that went with it.

Instead we would have seen Chelsea cancel out Milan in a dull final thinking what if.

Or what if after getting to the final we lost in the last minute after the great comeback we had, how bad would that have been. So close yet so far.

Would you have been able to handle that?

Personally I would choose losing to Milan.

I have a very deep hatred of all things Chav, Moris and Fat Frank orientated.

Not to mention Drog breath and that diving man-buggerer Robben.

Im with Lando on this one. Teh day of that match i had the flu but was sat in the pu, surrounded by cheatski fans and my little mottley gathering of liverpool fans. I remeber Eider getting Alonso booked in the first leg which meant he missed this leg so i was well made up when Gudjohnson missed that sitter.

easy. Milan. So many reasons:

Beating chelski.
Getting to the final.
Beating chelski.
Not winnning but being involved in one of the greatest finals ever.
Beating chelski.
The spirited comeback to fight from 3-0 down to draw 3-3, before conceeding one at the end.

Nobody remembers those who lose in Semi's, so it has to be going down to Milan.... But it don't matter\ anyway!!!!!!!!!!

Thats a very hard one as both would have been heart breakers,i remember the one with eidur gujohnsen,i nearly swallowed me tongue,and the replay showed that carra nearly knocked it in.If we lost that night we wouldnt have been able to see the greatest ynwa alone ever,it would have been another one of them seasons and Chelsea would have went to the final.Anfield would have been a dpressed place that night if we post,BUT THE MAIN THING IS WE DIDNT.I would choose losing in the final as the we cud still slag the manc sthe fact we made the final and we came back and went to xtra time and we would have still been proud of the team for the remarkable come back.
