No i never mate, silly me....i have had a bit of a moody week after getting smashed in ours on Tuesday.

No worries, mate, happens to all of us. I'm gutted we're not playing this weekend either--it'd be nice to kick on from the Barca game in the league straight away.

Villa have a game midweek, so we should be very fresh against these. Bit of a worry is the form of Carew. I always like Carew even from his earlier Valencia days and to be honest cannot believe he has had to ply his trade at some of the smaller clubs like Villa. He is a top, top striker.

Any thoughts on the score?

2 - 0 for me, Riise and Gerrard

I think we should try out Mascherano and Alonso in the middle with Stevie on the right. Momo wont be available against PSV so we should have as much practice at different options without him in the european lineup, I think we need to see how Mascherano and Alonso can play together.
