they should have left Cannings where it was.

Canning says the rates were crippling him, and that he makes most of his money on the net anyway. He must have been rolling in it before he moved though. I used to buy a newpaper off him at least twice a week.

same here...paper everyday, mag every fortnight. And depending on the used section, an Xbox game or two every month. Not too mention films, lottery, cigs, mints, toffee etc...Now, if im in the vicinity i cant be ar5ed walking through the arcade...i just pop round the corner to gamestation and the papershop just before it. His loss...and im not the only one who doesn't go in anymore. I know of at least 40 odd others as well. Rates too high? i bet his regular clientel have dropped by 15-25% or more...must be even more crippling.

There was a blond(Sophe), a brunette, and a red-head and they were walking down the street.
A short man came up to them and said: in that castle there is a magic mirror, if u look into the mirror and tell the truth you will be granted any wish you please, but if you lie you will be banished into the mirror forever
The girls went to the castle and the red-head went in first she said:
I think I am the prettiest out of the blond and the brunette, she got a pot of silver.
Next the brunette went in she said:
I think I am the smartest out of the red-head and the blond, she got a new car.
Then Sophe went in to try her luck she walked up to the mirror and said:

She was vanished into the mirror forever.

Afternoon Real Worlders! How's the weather in your parts? Strange times here in Canada...plus 11 C today and everywhere green grass as far as the eye can see. No complaints, mind--it's just creeping a bit!

its a mixture of the usual British boring winter Bob...Dull, damp, blowy and a bit nippy...the odd ray of low sunshine (anyone done the East Lancs -westbound around late afternoon in winter will testify to the sheer 'bum' clenching moments incurred along its length) But its surviveable...i doubt whether we will see the likes of the kind of weather you and your fellow compatriots have to endure on a regular basis, ever again in this country. Every year it gets milder and damper. Infact (the odd instance aside) im struggling to remember the last 'true' winter precipitation this side of the pond has dealt with at all in the last ten years, of any significance any way. (watch it be two-foot deep in the morning!)

..I highly doubt it though....

Well over here in the outskirts of Belfast its dark, damp and about 7 c. And the next door neighbour has cut his forest down ( used to be his front garden ) now i can see down the street. :nod
