I know I'm jumping the gun but at last I'VE GOT A TICKET. I've been trying forever to get a ticket to a Liverpool game. I'm taking my son to see Liverpool at the JJB. I'm so excited. I can't wait. This means so much to me. I was brought up on the Kop and since I had to move have only managed a handful of games. Just the thought of seeing Gerard play Oh my God!. My middle son is a massive fan and can't wait for the game. Let's hope we can cure this away curse we seem to have :buttrock

Sound mate. The absolute enthusiasm you've started this thread with means that this could be the thread we discuss this game in. Just promise to come back and tell us how it went.

Hope you and your lad enjoy the Wigan game mate. And I hope Gerrard (he's usually the difference between us and ANY team anyway) produces the goods for you mate. I'm convinced that Gerrard could shoot from anywhere on the pitch and score. The lad is unbelievable.

How i think we should line up against Wigan F.C:

Finnan JC Hyppia Riise

Pennant Gerrard Alonso Garcia

Kuyt Bellamy

Thats assuming Alonso is fit. Would have Hyppia in this week to combat Heskey's aerial threat.

the orwell is at wigan pier mate, near some good parking on an industrial estate, then its about a ten minute walk to the ground, the orwell is towards the town centre from the ground
