ive been saying this for ages mate, there is more to GHs reign than meets the eye. of course i dont have any proof of this, just speculation on my part and i could be wrong, but i dont think i am

I am of the very same opinion Peewee, but I have always neglected to bring it up on here and in company with my mates in the boozer because if I think about it or talk about it, it really gets under my skin.

I think if you don't talk about it, it will go away.  Silly way to behave for a grown man really but I can't bear thinking about a worse case scenario fate similar to what has recently happened to Juventus in Italy.

I haven't got the highest opinion of him anyway, it's best I say it like that now really for fear of starting a Houllier discussion, but if the shit ever hits the fan over this, and he is even remotely involved in any dodgy transfer dealings we get punished over, I hope the fucking bumbling excuse-laden idiot gets everything that will be coming to him from football's governing bodies.

I'm just getting my excuses in now before we get named in this.  This would be a nightmare for everyone concerned and if it's anything to do with Houllier, I won't have his name mentioned in my company again.

Can we still be punished by the FA or Fifa even tho it was Houllier that would have been at fault.

We have a strong case that the club knew nothing about the dodgey elements of the transfers because they would have never let Houllier sign so many lemmings in the first place.

If we do get found guilty what is the worst thing that could happen, Fines, transfer bans or even relegation.

Eight teams and 39 transfers are being investigated. I would imagine it will be the people involved that get banned/fined/imprisoned etc with no punishment to the club. Its not like the Italian scandle where referees were bribed.

Perhaps where clubs are proven to have knowledge of the bungs they may get a transfer ban?

Most of the 39 transfers being investigated were domestic transfers.
