This question was in my Dad's paper the other day:

How many people remember the name of the Liverpool player whose career was ended at Old Trafford by a rogue two footed tackle by Gary Neville-unnoticed by the officials and by the sports media?
The man's leg is still held together by metal pins.

Any ideas???

I think Gary Stevens did Beglin in a League Cup tie in 1987, Rob Jones seemed to have a bad run of injuries,could it be him maybe?
