Samsung d600 - Need advice

Do any of you have the samsung d600 mobile. When you close the phone it waits a few seconds then drops in standby mode. This is just a black screen. is there a way to display the clock or summat instead (like Nokia do) so it doesn't look like it's switched off?

I've got one - what freaks me out is that the alarm doesn't go off when you turn the phone off at night.
Is there a way round this?

ave got one and that alarm thing happened to me aswell, has to be switched on for it to work a think. The phone drops into standby mode to save power in the battery probably but you might be able to change it in settings but i dont know.

Did have a nokia n70 grrr :angry: got a sony-ericsson w810i,  :oh: woot wot!!  :love: I've got over 120 tunes on it. Can set every one to ringtone if I wanted, and dont tell me the nokia n91 holds more, its the size of a boat.

I got a 1g card from amerzon market place for £30. There coming down all the time tho!

LOL!!!! no mate, I didn't call you an @rse.

To be honest mate, I don't know. In the blurb it does say, high speed data transfer. That seems to be the problem.

i have the new sony erickson k800i, i can store upto 7 full albums on there, its 3.2 mp.   its a fuKing ing awsome fone
