Hillsborough poem

Hillsborough remembrance and related information

Postby kim82822222 » Sat Apr 15, 2006 3:21 am

this is my poem dedicated to the family and friends of the 96 people who died on that tragic day at hillsborough also to all the survivors and fans of liverpool football club

may peace be with you all

Keep our memory with you,
For memories never die;
all 96 of us will be there with you,
When you look across the sky.
we will be there in the clouds,
In the birds that fill the air;
In the beauty of a fragrant rose,
You will find our memory there.
You will feel us in the tenderness,
Of a tiny baby's touch;
You will hear us if you listen,
In the twilight's gentle hush.
When your hearts are heavy,
And you feel that you are alone;
Just reach down deep inside of you,
For your heart is now our home.
all 96 of us will be there with you,
we will never go away;
For we will live on in your hearts and memories,
Forever and a day.
