Looks like we are going to be getting money form Thailan, what do you think.

Well,a ccording to bbcsport:

Millionaire Liverpool fan Steve Morgan says he has had a revised bid to invest in the club turned down.
Morgan had an offer to plough £73m into Liverpool rejected as "not attractive" by the board earlier this month.

But he revealed on Friday he had since "totally changed" the structure of the bid, and increased the price per share.

"This revised offer has also been turned down by both the chairman and the Liverpool board," a statement from his representatives claimed.

Morgan now says he is "reluctantly withdrawing" the new bid, which was the third he has made to Liverpool.

A £50m offer was turned down earlier this season, followed by the £73m bid and now this latest attempt to buy into a club he has always supported.

He now appears to have walked away from investing in the club, leaving Thai prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra a clear path to negotiate his own, £60m offer for 30% of Liverpool.

However, that offer now appears to have hit a snag of its own.

"I would like to thank the many thousands of fans who backed the bid and my family who have been totally supportive," he said.

"I remain totally committed to Liverpool Football Club and would implore the board to bring all of the uncertainty surrounding both the club and the manager to a rapid conclusion."

Morgan said after the first offer was rejected: "It was pretty apparent that the board was not willing to speak to me about any kind of deal.

"But I hope I have highlighted failures at management and board levels."

Morgan's bid, whether successful or not is a sure winner for Morgan personally.

See, if he wins, he get LFC on the cheap and get to outs Moores from the chairmanship.
If he's unsuccessful, he will already get the publicity he wanted, get to criticise the board and undermine Houllier while making Moores looked the villant for putting his self interest above the club.

The board has got to make up their mind soon as dragging on will only undermine our preparation for next season.

I think Moores and Perry will have to accept or compromise on the Thai deal. If they rejected both, and Moores cannot cough out new money into the club, it will begin to look like they are trying to cover their ***** and put their personal interest above all things...and that is bad. We need new transfer funds for new players (and also to entice a top manager) now more than ever.

I believe the fact they dismissed Morgan's bid so abruptly, without compromise, shows they are purely working on self interest. To except any offer from a corrupt regime fronted by an immoral leader can only bring harm and shame to the good name of Liverpool Football Club.

I have serious doubts as to why the Thais want in on Liverpool FC and also I want to know where their money comes from. I certainly hope we don't end up taking on lots of bl00dy Thai footballers to keep their interest :(

I'm almost sure that Moores and Parry will accept the blood money from Thailand and begin the cessation of our club by big business moguls.Eventually we will be floated on the stock market and Moores will do one, similar to Martin Edwards, with a big wad of money. It's sad that a man with business knowledge,a Liverpudlian through and through, has been turned away because the coward Moores feels his position could be under threat. That is the crux of the total dismissal of the Morgan offer, without any leeway.

Couldn't agree more S/S. Moores has clearly put his own position before the interests of the club which is a slippery slope. No matter how much money Sinawatra is promising, the whole deal stinks. How can we accept public money from a nation where 70% of the population live below the poverty line??? What are Sinawatra's motivating factors? Who knows, but I'd bet my mortgage football isn't one of them. Not a good situation.      :(
