Don't like your manager much. But when Arsenal play well, it has to be said, its beautiful football.

I won't be supporting Arsenal, but I won't be unhappy to see you progress.

Your chances of winning the CL (IMO), is the same as ours was last year.... slim.

But good luck and happy posting.

Welcome to the forum.

The style of play you played a few years ago when you went unbeaten for 49 games has to be the most attractive football I have ever seen. Saying that you're not the team you once were and I don't think you will be that good again. Arsene Wenger needs to pop to spec-savers pronto. He's like Mourinho never see's an incident, when it's right in front of him.

I'll support Arsenal tonite because I don't particulary like Juventus but after this round you're on your own. With the likes of AC Milan, Villarreal all through and I spose Barcelona and you lot (Arsenal) I wouldn't fancy your chances but as last season taught everyone that if you have self-belief and your team work hard for each other than nothings impossible.

I still don't want Arsenal to win the competition, but I do think you have a more than slim chance of winning it.  You could easily get to the final.

Providing you progress tonight, is it Villareal you play next?  I saw them last night and they have a few decent players, who all play for each other and they are hard to beat.  I have said they could go all the way in this competition since the group stages.  If Porto and Liverpool could upset the odds in the last couple of years, why not Villareal?

Also, they have an outstanding playmaker in Riquelme.  You stop him, you stop Villareal.  Expect a similar statement this summer at the World Cup from pundits about Argentina.  I expect him to shine.

With Milan playing Barcelona or Benfica, the final is going to be difficult for Arsenal should they get there.  I expect Barcelona to beat Benfica, but who doesn't?

I'll be watching tonight anyway.  Being honest, you smashed Juventus last week and I expect you to go through but anything can happen in football.  It's not over yet.

Am sure Villareal fans would be flattered by your comparison of their team and Liverpool/Porto.
Villareal are in the competition for the first time in their history while Liverpool had won it four time before that and i dont know much about porto but am sure they also have a better history than villareal.

Villareal and Leverkusen would make a fairer comparison :D

I think we'll beat juve 1-0 tonight and cruise past villareal before beating barcelona 4-3(not penalties) in a thrilling finale

I don't like watching any other English club winning the Champions League other than Liverpool. I'd much rather see another club from another nation hoist it.

We do have the common enemy in both Chelsea & Man Utd and I have a lot of time for Arsenal and a lot of respect but just because I respect Arsenal doesn't mean I will support you and it doesn't mean I want you to win the Champions League.

Good luck.. I hope you win it...  Id rather a british team retained the European cup...

Although, I think anyone who beats Barcelona at the moment has to be a very special team, and I think Arsenal are a few players short of being special.
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

i think you're jealous.
You respect us as a team but somehow you dont want us to win it shows you're green with envy.
I dont blame you though :D

I'm not jealous of Arsenal, I have no reason to be jealous of Arsenal.

I don't like the fact that Aston Villa won it, I don't like the fact that Man-ure won it twice and I don't like the fact that Nottingham Forest won it twice, does that mean I'm jealous of those three clubs? The answer's no!

And I wouldn't get too carried away just yet.

I'm not talking about European pedigree.

So what you're saying Villareal are a poor side because it's their first time in the competition?  So obviously by that rationale, because Arsenal have never made it to even a Champions league semi-final, they are also a poor side?  Is that what you're saying?

Did you watch Villareal last night?  There are not that many players in the world that can get near Riquelme when he's on form like this.  Both Juventus and Arsenal will have to stop him in the semi-final depending on who gets there.

Welcome to the forum Pirez,

TBH I think the gunners have a great chance of winning it, and if you where to play against AC Milan you will beat them.
The pace in your team would tear them apart, Lyon where very unlucky last night, but they should have converted their chances.
I think you will score maybe 1 tonight and see off Juventus (I dont like them anyway).

A Barca V Arsenal final would be great for the neutral to watch two of the best footballing sides in Europe.

If you win it you have a long way to go before catching us BTW  :rasp  :D

Good luck mate, and I still think you will get 4th cause Spurs always bottle a European place, and I fuckin hate Bolton and Fat head Sam.

P.S Views on Henry is he going to stay or will he be leaving in the summer? Its great to have the best footballer in the world in the prem, but not when he plays against us and Gerrard gives him dodgey back passes :;):  :D
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Kenny Dalglish 1/2/2011

REST IN PEACE PHIL, YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN.
