There's nothing wrong with thinking we could get beat.
It is no betrayal to your club.

Look at our form in London:
Spurs - draw
Fulham, Charlton, Chelsea - lost.

It is not inconceiveable that we will get beat.
I'm half expectiing it.

No you're right there's nothing wrong in thinking we can get beat. Of course we can.
It's just that Alfonso Alonso doesn't think we can win, ever.

Either a bitter bluenose or just a very sad little individual.

Er, where I was sat most people thought it was inevitable.
Everyone was sick.

But you obviously dont allay that to the players.
You still support them and sing as we did.

Most the reds I know think we'll get beat. That's not saying they think we've got no chance.
It's just a bit of negativity after Benfica along with our form in London and the fact that we are finding it hard to score at the moment.

Come on guys, RAFA told the team at half time of the CL final and as he usually tells them before each game "Liverpool have the best fans in the world" (which is true) so the least we can do is show some faith to our manager and team and will them on instead of conceeding the game before it's even kicked off.

Liverpool never conceed a game until the final whistle has blown and the other team are in the showers!!!!

We are Liverpool we do not dream and we do not dwell, we will our team on with all we have...........so no more talk about us getting beat.

When a fan has the opinion of "I can see us losing this" - then it is not the same as conceding the game.

This is a forum. What you write on here is different to your attitude when at the match.

Fact is our form in London is bad; Ars.enal are on the up, we are having trouble scoring.
Obviously, I'd love to see us win. But I can't see it happening.

Agreed Effes, I think a draw will be a great result for us, I cannot see us winning this one.
Cause we cant score in a brotherl and 2. London is not a happy hunting ground for us.

Certainly a interesting fixture coming straight after our contrasting fortunes in Europe midweek
Hopefully Arsenal will still be in a daze that they actually still in Europe and we can nick the points :D

However away point here would be gratefully accepted most  seasons in recent times,  and i dont think this season  is any different

What is wrong on with you lot? Ciggy, Effes?  We all know who Alfonso Alonso and Miss Liverpool are and dont expect any thing different from that sad w@nker!  But the rest of the forum regulars who are coming out and saying "I cannot see us winning this one" should hang your heads in shame!  You are a disgrace!

Fair enough, point out that we are having trouble converting our chances, point out that we are leaking goals like a Sunday league team, point out that our midfield can't get a hold of the ball, point out that we struggling to get 30% possession, point out that we hardly ever have a shot at goal, point out that we've got a team full of nobodys who have never proven that they have got what it takes on the biggest stages in world!

Oh hang on...the only bit thats right there is the first bit about us having trouble converting chances at the moment!  The rest is total bollox!  I can see us winning at Highbury. It might take a bit of luck, it might take a complete f.uck up by Cygan or Lehmann, it might take a wonder goal by Cisse but its football boys and girls, all of these things are possible and have happened in the past! Anything can happen including us winning. FFS you'd think we were Sunderland!  If I was an Gooner I'd be pi$$ing myself at you lot.

Rant over.

the negitivity is coming from lack of goals, but if cruches luck changes and robbie gets a sniff we could be on to slaughter arsenal, the goals have to start going in sometime, just because the gooners have beat real doesn't make them the team they were 2 season ago

??? Why are we a disgrace it may have escaped your attention but we havent won at Highbury for 6 years, I say a win would be feckin great but Ill settle for the point, cause thats also taking 2 points off Arsenal, keeping them further at bay.
Plus I am not filled with confidence that Traore might be in the squad. Plus the fact none of our forwards are on form and the gooners can score for fun if they are on form.
