I'm not sure what it means, because it's so rare, but Lawro has predicted a Liverpool win (2-1). Does anyone know how to interpret strange events?

I think the lads will put on a good performance today, i can see us nicking it by the odd goal with Stevie and Luis to score, for some reason i think Mori will score today he loves playing against the Mancs

i don't think we're going to miss xabi too much in this game and i'll be more than happy to see didi step in to his place. i often feel like we're a more solid and convincing side when he's on the pitch and he has a knack for being involved in important goals and the winning of important games. its a luxury that benitez has the difficult task of selecting a central midfield from xabi, stevie, didi and momo - each offering something different and each a quality player.

i read something on the guardian site before about a clause in didi's contract that if he faces man u he gets an extra year's deal. strange, interesting and true.

my guess is that the game will be a close run thing, niggly, maybe not too pretty, and with us winning it by a single goal margin.
