JBG...on behalf of those so afflicted with a mental and/or physical disability and their families, thank you for your apology, qualified as it is.

If people will now think in more positive terms or those less fortunate rather than making derogatory and half baked attempts at humour we have achieved something. Well done

As I said Lionheart, if you were genuinely offended, then I apologise UNRESERVEDLY.

My point was that I felt that people were reading too much into it. I knew when I made the remark it was politically incorrect, but I had no intention for it to cause offence. If it caused genuine offence, I apologise.
