How can the papers get things sooooo wrong!!!

Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson was reported Wednesday to be considering a 20 million pound bid for Liverpool's Steven Gerrard to replace captain Roy Keane.

Keane has admitted he is unsure about whether he will see out the remaining two years of his contract at Manchester.

"You can't look too far ahead in football," said the 32-year-old Irishman who was believed to have infuriated Ferguson with his decision to come out of international retirement.

"I think as a player, you can't be looking too far ahead," Keane added.

"And in football, I think you should always expect the unexpected. I'm sitting here saying: 'I've got two years left on my contract'; many players have said that and before you know it, they're off."

Gerrard would be damned forever by Anfield fans if he left the club he skippers.

And Ferguson might face a battle with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger who said he was looking for a "real gem" to bolster his league winners.

"If I can find a real gem I will make an effort," Wenger said.

Stevie's going nowhere, its just paper talk and if he was, it wouldn't be to Man Spew !!!!!!!!! Another case iof the papers adding 2 +2  and making 5. Musn't be much happening in the world of football if Roy Keane's making the news, he is past his best. Why else go back on the international scene. He is probably missing the adulation he used to get when he was good :;):
