MON is the man if not Mourinho would be a good choice.
Smith to Shankly:My thigh is a bit sore, but I think I could play.
Shankly to Fagan:Tell him,Joe.He has got no chance of playing.
Smith to Fagan:Tell him to sod off.It is not his leg,it's mine.
Shankly to Smith:Oh no son.You are wrong, son. It is not your leg.
It is Liverpool Football Club's leg.

I was reading a post about Kevin Keegan on another forum and it set me thinking about motivation  :p Maybe O'Neill is a cross between Keegan and Souness

hector cuper? no idea how good his english is (can't be worse than ranieri's?) was very successful with valencia - doing well in REAL European competitions (as opposed to the Waffer Cup, c.f. Mon) and Valencia played good football against us (twice!) i.e. ball on the deck! Surely MON will keep Emile and despite the nature of the SPL, Celtic haven't exactly set the world on fire with glittering performances. Lastly, Cuper even did well with perennial under-achievers Inter taking them to second in Serie A last season and the semis of the European Cup (all in his first season) before being unceremoniously sacked early this season for a bad domestic start depite beating Arsenal 3-0 at Highbury in the European Cup (in which competition they were unbeaten).

Despite all the above, I think Houllier will be there next season and would be prepared to give him another season (although no more money unless he sells!) albeit with a certain amount of trepidation. It's a tough one - we get Mon we keep Heskey. We keep Houlier and Biscan stays?!

Mourinho is no.1 for me but he said he doesn't want to leave Porto and they're hardly going to give him the sack and even if he DOES leave then he'd probably go to Chelsea instead, although he's a smart guy so he'd probably know one mistake and he'd be gone.  But Houllier may be here next season so lets not get ahead of ourselves.

Mourinho won't be going to Chelsea this summer. I believe it will be Steve McClaren to take over at Chelsea next season.
